'Asar 15' Celebration
5th Batch students of Meihoku celebrated 'Asar 15' by doing various activities. 'Asar 15' is an auspicious rice planting occasion of the farmers in Nepal which is enjoyed on the 15th of Asadh (during the end of July), every year. The Nepal Government announced this day as National Paddy Day, to encourage farmers and celebrate the crop planting festival. This day is also known as 'Dahi Chiura Day', meaning Curd and Bitten Rice eating day. Our students of 5th batch celebrated this day by eating 'Dahi Chiura', Momos and cleaning of Meihoku's Kitchen garden.
